Before i start, picmonkey do not allow free users to utilize every service they offer among which is pixel flexibility. The kind of dimension you can set for photos you want to make there is very limited,especially of headers. You can only make one of these heady,bulky headers, therefore free. But as for site-looking
headers, you must have their paid membership in order to start and finish it their. But if you have a place(another editor) with which you can get to make a collage of the header pixel we are using (must be in png) you can upload it to picmonkey for just editing, For this reason, i shall upload a header an unedited header image of the prescribed pixel we are using and in png format so that you can download it and then upload to picmonkey .

Lets make a header.

By the left end of the editor, is a menu, symbols, just hover cursor about them to see their names, but click the fourth symbol, precisely,the kite-like symbol. That's for Overlays
4. Once opened, just the first item on the column, GEOMETRIC overlay. Select it. That's what to use in changing the colour of this header to just anything.
5. under the geometric overlay, select any of the rectangular/square diagrams( even if you do not want something dark)

you will have the selected square fall on you header, if you do not want dark colour change it here, you can see the colour effects standing beside, afterwards, drag the Geometric overlay over the face of the header image to assume completely the overlays colour.
7, If you want to have any logo on your header, just scroll round the overlays, bloggerdemmy header logo is a combination of ''star and Victorian label''
8. Then it's time to write on the header image. Now just above overlays symbol is Tt. that's ''text''click on it .Now follow this steps. After you open it, you will see only fonts. Walk through them and select the one you wish to use,and then click ADD TEXT just atop fonts pane ( you must first select the fonts you want to use before applying add text, otherwise what will happen is that picmonkey will offer/issue her default text font to you
after selecting to add text, choose choice fonts colour and then size before now clicking on the text box already fitted on your header. It doesn't matter where you write the text,middle,left or right end because you always can drag added text around..
9. their is eraser on fonts/colour pane in case.Want to redo or undo any action, look just above the header been edited,search some of those symbols there with your mouse. There is undo and redo. After all is done, still above/atop of the editor, click save. Save it to computer or the other save option( in case of difficulty saving) but do not change the dimension. You can change the name.
