CUSTOMISE in blogger is made in a manner that you see the effect of whatever thing/colour you select before applying. That's a scrolling half of your entire blog will be present just below the customise tool box to help you grab a live effect of whatever you select before you can apply
1. Now you have made a header and published some posts(which i recommend you do at the begining) with almost a full view of your blog almost there, lets quickly learn about customising your blogs body/template to any particular colour(s) you want.
2.Open CUSTOMISE, by now, you must have/should have set a particular template
3. Background colour is that under blogger post body. Background colour is the only way two(background and post body colours) different(if you so wish) colours can be blended in a blog. Bloggerdemmys' background colour is black. You can still leave everything here default if you want.
4. Live adjust widths and layout. We have adjusted them earlier to get a befitting header(Note: any further change/adjustment will amount to creating another header)
5. Open Advanced in Customize
6. Page text means blog posts, text/post colour( that colour all the articles in a website is rendered to to visitors for reading ). It's always Black.The blog is your's anyway!
7. Background is another chance to get creative with any background image you so selected. From outer= backgrounds beside your post body, to Header,backgrounds under your post body,and to post background( which is always white)-- been that under which your blog post is/will be turned out to the world wide web. This is like using a black pen to write on white paper. That's why it's pretty popular among folks. Black page text and white post background
8. When you make a link on your post what colour should it bear( giving it black like your post colour is not good because people will not notice it let alone clicking on it) so select any colour you think visible. Then for visited links(that is,any link that has been clicked on by visitors). Give it another colour with which to show this. The last is unvisited link. You can use RED on it
9. Select what colour your blog title should take
10. tabs is that spot your blogs category/page is shown. Just below header image. What it means by tabs text is that you select text colour and font you want to have your tabs content shown with
11. Tabs background.Is the background colour upon which tabs text would appear
12. post title.select any font and size you want to have your post titles appear on.
13 Date header is the colour of the dates that will appear on every post made, just before the post title
14. blogger footer and border colour. Bloggerdemmy post has no border colour. That's, it's default that one cannot really tell where the post body begin and where it ended. For those with border, you should see the border lines separating one post from another and the whole post body from right and left side bars
15. Gadgets(will talk about it on layout) colours.
16. Footer is generally under the post body. That section of blogger body below posts.Just at the leg side of blogger homepage and the things therein comprise of footer
17.footer links are same with links up there. But unlike links above which is mainly for links contained within blogger post published, footer links refers to every link that may be contained in any gadget/article or text you publish/stations at the footer section of blogger homepage.
18. Ignore add CSS(CSS is a programming language. Only used when altering the HTML format of your template). Any need for CSS,will be duely made known to you by me or my colleagues.
